Reflect, learn and share your faith story
As you begin to gather as a Circle, take this time to share food and drink and discuss any questions you have been reflecting on. These three questions may help to start your discussion.
Phones and computers all function by an operating system. This sets the basis for how they can be used. What is your ‘operating system’? What lies at the heart of your identity, defines your intentions, dictates your actions?
The identity of humanity can be found in Christ. In Christ we realise that we have been created out of love, for love, by a God of love.
This is what you are called to: a life of love. Love is the power that comes from the creator of the cosmos. To speak of an experience of this love, is to share a ‘testimony’.
The Gospel speaks of a faith that challenges us to make love our operating system. This can be hard. We seek justification from others, placing rationality above revelation. But, faith allows us to experience something beyond our comprehension.
Faith gives us the freedom to make Christ the centre of our lives, grounded in an encounter and a relationship of love. Share your story of encounter with all those that you encounter. Look to share this love through words and actions in every opportunity.
Amen.
Reflect on your story. There are generally five (5) key parts.
Before you meet again as a Circle, commit to making these two actions. The 'Inwards' action will support you to grow in your faith. The'Outwards' action will challenge you to a new aspect of mission.
