Explore the truth: Christ saves
As you begin to gather as a Circle, take this time to share food and drink and discuss any questions you have been reflecting on. These three questions may help to start your discussion.
Christ, out of love, gave Himself completely in order to save you. His outstretched arms on the cross are the most telling sign that He will stop at nothing in order to love you.
It is this same Christ who continues to save and redeem us by His love. Everyone is offered salvation; those who accept this offer are set free from the consequence of sin, sorrow, inner emptiness and loneliness. No matter how far you might stray, He will find you, forgive you and never forget you. This is His nature. To love and to save.
Jesus’ love is greater than our problems, frailties and flaws. Yet, it is in our weakness that His grace is strongest. He will always embrace us. Salvation is not earned, but is a gift freely given. In this hope, we can turn to Him with a joy that comes from knowing we have been loved more than we could ever imagine.
Do not allow yourself to be seduced or enslaved by any other thought or perception. You are priceless before the Lord. Allow yourself to be saved, over and over again. Confess your failings. Seek mercy which leads to freedom. Contemplate your creation. Know you are loved.
Amen.
